What's Included

The care that keeps it looking right.

01

Spring & fall cleanups

Debris and leaf removal, bed edging, cutback of winter-dead perennial growth, and a full yard assessment at the start and end of each growing season.

02

Pruning & trimming

Ornamental trees, shrubs, and hedges pruned at the right time of year for each species. Not just cut back to size. Cut correctly so they come back the way they're supposed to.

03

Mulch refresh

Fresh mulch application to beds each season. Extends moisture retention, suppresses weeds, moderates soil temperature, and keeps beds looking clean.

04

Pest & disease treatment

We treat bagworms, aphids, scale, fungal issues, and other common Nebraska landscape problems using integrated pest management. Identify, treat, and monitor.

05

Edging & bed cleanup

Clean bed edges define the line between landscape and lawn. Sharp edges take minutes off your weekly maintenance and make the whole yard look more intentional.

06

Seasonal assessments

Each maintenance visit, we flag anything that needs attention. You don't need to know what's wrong. We'll notice the bagworm before it's a problem. We'll catch the dying shrub before it dies.

Why Creative Landscaping

Maintenance that actually maintains.

Pruned at the right time

Different plants get pruned at different times of year. Pruning spring bloomers in late winter removes the flower buds. We know the difference. We prune each plant correctly, not everything on the same schedule.

We flag problems early

Every maintenance visit, we look for what's coming, not just what's already visible. A bagworm infestation caught early is an afternoon of work. Caught late, it's a dead tree.

Customized to your property

We don't have a one-size schedule. We look at what your specific yard has, what season it is, and what actually needs doing. You're not paying for services your yard doesn't need.

“I contacted Creative Landscaping at the Home and Garden show. They came out that next week. It took a couple of weeks to get the design just right. About a month later their crew was here and worked hard every day to get everything done. During the whole process they were patient with me, answered all my questions. I couldn’t have asked for a better, stress-free experience. I would definitely recommend Creative Landscaping.”

Common Questions

Landscape Maintenance FAQs

How often should I schedule landscape maintenance?
Most properties benefit from spring and fall cleanups as a minimum. Properties with more complex plantings, more beds, or specific pest pressure often benefit from periodic visits during the growing season (April-October). We'll recommend a schedule based on your specific yard.
What's included in a spring cleanup?
Debris and leaf removal, bed edging, pruning of winter-dead perennial growth, mulch refresh, and a walkthrough of what needs attention for the season ahead. It's the reset that starts the year right.
Do you offer recurring maintenance plans?
Yes. We can set up a customized recurring schedule based on what your property actually needs. Fill out the estimate form or call us at 402-897-6456 to discuss what makes sense for your yard.
When should I prune trees and shrubs in Nebraska?
Late winter or early spring (before new growth) is best for most deciduous shrubs and summer-blooming plants. Spring-blooming shrubs like lilacs and forsythia should be pruned right after they bloom. We advise based on your specific plants, not a generic schedule.
Do you treat landscape pest and disease problems?
Yes. We treat common Nebraska landscape issues including bagworms, aphids, scale insects, and fungal problems. Integrated pest management means we identify the specific issue and treat appropriately rather than applying the same product to everything.
